Billing & Payment Information
CSWD Water Bills are sent out during the first week of each month and are due on the 23rd of each month. Late payments will be assessed a late payment fee of $5 + 1% of the past due balance.
Bill payment can be made in one of four ways:
By Mail: Simply send your check or money order, (No cash please) to Cucharas Sanitation & Water District, 16925 Hwy. 12, La Veta CO 81055
In Person or By Drop Box: Drop your check by our office during regular business hours, or use the convenient mail slot next to the front door. Cash payments accepted during normal business hours. Please do not send cash by mail or deposit it into the slot.
Online Payment: With UB Pay Online, once you have registered for account access, you have the ability to pay your bill online anytime with a credit card or bank account. Also, we can now accept your credit card for payment via phone or in person. There is a small service fee when using this option. This service fee in most cases would be less than a late fee. The service fee is accessed at $3 per $100 paid.
Automatic Bill Payment: We can automatically deduct your payment each month through Automatic Withdrawal from a specified checking or savings account. This method is convenient for you, as you never have to write a check or use a stamp. Account Access: With UB Pay Online you can access your account information including billing history, payment history and meter readings in addition to paying your bill online (for a nominal fee). In order to register for this service you need to call our office at 719-742-3108 to obtain the required Municipal Code. Click on the UB Pay link to access this feature.
